Luke is now a Dunlap Fellow at the University of Toronto.

For his PhD thesis he won the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS) Michael Penston Thesis Prize, won the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Thesis Prize (Division B Facilities, Technologies and Data Science), won the UCL Maths and Physical Sciences (MAPS) Postgraduate Prize, and won the MSSL Alan Johnstone Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement by Research Student.
